FARLEYS Solicitors, one of the region’s most respected law firms, has unveiled its new commercial home at Shadsworth Business Park in Blackburn.
The building will be the new home of the firm’s commercial division which includes its general commercial, commercial property, corporate, employment law and commercial litigation departments.
The Shadsworth site also includes a substantial state-of-the-art document storage and archive facility which will be used by its three additional offices in Blackburn town centre and other sites in Burnley, Accrington and Manchester city centre. Part of the storage facility will be let out to local companies enabling them to store their documents securely.
Chris Porter, head of commercial at Farleys, said: “The various commercial departments had out grown its previous town centre facilities and we wanted a centre which would give us a platform for expansion and enable each commercial department to work closer together to help our clients.
“This move will take our offering to local businesses to a new level through bigger, modern and improved facilities, with the added benefits of better access and on-site free parking. This is a major and brave step forward for the firm and it will play a key role in our expansion strategy.”
A 62-acre site at Junction 5 on the M65 corridor, Shadsworth Business Park is home to companies such as BAE Systems, Daniel Thwaites, Interbrew UK, Morada International, Parcelforce, Business Post and Interlink Foods.
