The Corporate team at Farleys Solicitors have successfully advised on the sale of Blackburn based companies Select Medical Ltd and Select Medical Holdings Ltd, to Leeds based Herida Healthcare Ltd.
Established in 2001, Select Medical manufacture, supply, clean and repair a wide range of pressure relieving mattresses and cushions.
The acquisition by Herida brings the group to joint revenues of £17m and bolsters the service and repair requirements for the already rapidly growing business, which provides mattresses, cushions and various accessories to help treat and prevent pressure injuries.
Farleys’ team, led by Partner and Head of Corporate Debbie King, acted for all of the selling shareholders of Select Medical, including founder Ray Booth; and advised on the legal aspects of the transaction, with tax and accountancy advice provided by PM&M.
