Following on from the success of their annual St. Patrick’s day celebration, the partners at Farleys decided to opt for a change this year. In true patriotic style an event was held to celebrate St. Georges’s day, with the theme of the day being ‘dragon slaying’, ‘brit pop’, good food and more than a drop of English ale!
More than 80 guests attended the event, all enjoying a welcome relief from the gloom and doom of the current economic climate.
The event raised £750 for the Honeypot Charity, an organisation dedicated to providing support and respite holidays to children from extremely disadvantaged backgrounds.
Partner Ian Liddle commented,
“The event was a massive success as ever and I want to thank the guests for their kind generosity in donating to the Honeypot Charity. We try to keep the day very informal, but it also proves to be an excellent opportunity for our guests to network and hopefully create a bit of business for each other in these challenging times.”
