FARLEYS Solicitors’ commercial team is celebrating 12 successful months at its out-of-town headquarters in Shadsworth.

The purpose built facility at Shadsworth Business Park in Blackburn is home to the firm’s commercial division, which includes its commercial litigation, commercial property, corporate, employment law and general commercial departments.

The site also includes a substantial state-of-the-art document storage and archive facility, which is used by the firm’s three additional offices in Blackburn town centre and other sites in Burnley, Accrington and Manchester city centre. Part of the storage facility has also been let out to local companies enabling them to store their documents securely.

Chris Porter, head of commercial law at Farleys, said: “We made a brave move relocating our various commercial departments to Shadsworth but felt it was a key move to continue our expansion strategy as we had outgrown our previous town centre facilities.

By bringing all of our commercial departments under one roof, we believe they are working closer together which has benefited clients immensely over the past 12 months, and we are sure this will continue as we become more established at our Shadsworth headquarters.

Clients have also commented on how impressed they are with the facility, as it is modern, ideally located next to the motorway and has free on-site parking, which most in-town facilities are lacking.”

Shadsworth Business Park is a 62-acre site at Junction 5 on the M65. It is home to companies such as BAE Systems, Daniel Thwaites, Interbrew UK, Morada International, Parcelforce, Business Post and Interlink Foods.
