The commercial property team at Farleys has acted alongside a team of property professionals on the recent acquisition of a prime retail site in Prestwich, Manchester.

The site had the attention of multiple investors and was subsequently acquired for £9.85 million.  The property attracted strong interest from investors due to the appeal of tenants Marks and Spencer’s and Pets at Home, who have both had outstanding years and continue to show growth.

Jonathan Pickles from Nolan Redshaw said: “Due to the calibre of the asset, interest in this site came from national and overseas investors.

“There were a number of competitive bids, and we ensured our clients were represented with the upmost professionalism ultimately leading to the successful transaction in under 10 working days.”

Acting on behalf of the purchaser, Ian Liddle used his expertise and experience in transactional work to ensure all legal matters were completed without trouble, ensuring that the acquisition was completed within ten days of receipt of contract papers.

Ian Liddle,  Partner and commercial property lawyer at Farleys said –

Acting on the purchase of this investment property on behalf of our client was a real pleasure. Timescales were very tight particularly when coupled with the traditional pre-Christmas rush to get jobs over the line.  That said, the team at Farleys all pitched in to ensure that everyone’s expectations were met.
