Farleys acted on behalf of a Serving Police Officer in recovering damages for personal injury and other losses following a road traffic accident that occurred during the course of the Officers service.
The Officer’s vehicle was struck by a vehicle being driven by a person, who was later apprehended by the Police. It transpired that the third party was Uninsured and a claim was made against the Motor Insurance Bureau, Victims of Uninsured Drivers Scheme.
The Officer sustained complex injuries requiring a number of medical reports and rehabilitation treatment. The Officers career was affected and it was necessary to issue Court Proceedings, as well as instruct a Specialist Barrister to give an Advice to the Client in Conference.
Farleys Specialist Solicitors advised the Client throughout and eventually recovered damages in excess of £25,000.
