The safety and wellbeing of our clients, colleagues and communities is our number one priority. Our offices are currently closed, but the Farleys team are here and fully committed to supporting you throughout this period with our trusted legal advice and support.
Keep up to date with everything legal in relation to COVID-19 and issues related to you, your family and your business on our coronavirus legal advice hub.
Contacting a Solicitor
As we are sure you will appreciate, the safety and health of our employees is paramount; as much a priority as our determination to assist clients in these uncertain times.
You can continue to contact us for new and continuing enquiries by the normal channels of communication such as by telephone, email or our online chat. Please do not visit our offices unless it is essential, and an appointment has been made with your Farleys representative.
For those that do have to visit our offices, we would like to reassure you that in accordance with Government guidance we have undertaken a Covid-19 secure risk assessment and implemented measures to support social distancing. If attending our office is unavoidable, we politely remind you that all visitors to our offices are required to wear a mask or face covering, unless exempt.
Appointments by telephone or video call are available and we still have the technology and contingency plans in place to continue our business operations remotely with minimum impact on our clients. Please get in touch to discuss your options.
The Progression of Open Matters
As a firm we have remained open with an uninterrupted service for our clients throughout the pandemic and continued to support individuals and businesses with trusted legal advice and support, particularly at a time where a lot of people are facing legal issues though the knock-on effects of coronavirus.
Where external factors such as closure of other services such as businesses, courts etc. cause a delay or interruption to our services further down the line, we will communicate information as soon as possible and ensure we provide updates and remain a point of contact and reassurance.
‘Saturday Surgery’ Legal Advice Clinic – We’ve adapted our longstanding legal advice clinic and taken this online (every Wednesday afternoon) so that people in the local community can still access this vital service. Get in touch if you would like to book an appointment.
Family Law Clinic – Our Thursday family law clinics in Blackburn and Burnley have switched to pre-arranged telephone appointment only. Please contact us to arrange an appointment. Please note, appointments are on a first come first served basis.
Farleys Events – As it stands, all of the events, including seminars, which we were due to host have been either changed to webinars or postponed. If you need to discuss any of these regarding ticket refunds, rearranged dates or anything else, please contact Reta Rose – Reta.Rose@farleys.com
As Covid-19 restrictions begin to ease, Farleys Solicitors remain here and ready to support you, your family or your business with trusted legal advice. If you are in need of personal or business legal advice then do not hesitate to contact us on 0845 287 0939 or contact us by email.
