Farleys Solicitors hosted a Charity Race Night on Thursday 26th October in aid of Rosemere Cancer Foundation’s 20 Year Anniversary Appeal. More than 80 friends, family, and clients attended the event held at Preston Golf Club and chanced their luck in aid of a great cause.
For those unfamiliar with the concept of a race night; a programme of horse races is played throughout the night with guests given the chance to bet on the horses of their choice. If they back a winner, they will get a portion of the takings for that race with the rest going to charity.
Kindly donated prizes were up for grabs in a raffle and guests enjoyed a delicious fish and chip supper during a break in the racing. The evening was a resounding success, raising almost £3,000! This fantastic amount will go towards Farleys’ 10K pledge for Rosemere and we are pleased to announce we have now reached the halfway point in our fundraising.
