Katie is a Qualified Solicitor within our abuse team who joined Farleys in March 2014 as a Litigation Executive within the same department.
In September 2016 Katie was awarded a position on Farleys’ highly accredited training programme. During her traineeship, Katie undertook a number of seats, gaining invaluable experience across a number of practices.
Prior to joining Farleys Katie successfully completed a Law degree (LLB) from Leeds Metropolitan University and later went on to complete her Legal Practice Course in 2015.
Katie has chosen to continue her career with Farleys due to its outstanding reputation in Lancashire and throughout the North West.
She is experienced in bringing civil claims against Local Authorities where children have been abused or neglected in care and in representing victims of historic abuse in claims against the Church, Ministry of Justice, Local Authority, Schools, Sports Coaches and making claims to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.
