Claire joined Farleys’ family law team in September 2019.
She has been practising family law in Lancashire for 17 years with a focus on children law for the last 12 years, becoming an accredited member of the Children Panel in 2011.
Claire has extensive experience of dealing with both private and public law and, within the public law arena, a focus on complex cases.
The shining moment of her career so far is being the instructing solicitor in linked public law proceedings before the former president of the family division which drove and led to a change to s.25 Children Act 1989 relating to the legality of children being placed in secure accommodation in Scotland.
