We are delighted to announce that we will be sponsoring the upcoming Accrington 10k. The event which has been running (if you’ll pardon the pun) for over 30 years now, will take place on Sunday the 29th of October.
The race will start at 10am on Altham Industrial Estate before beginning a circular route heading up Burnley Road, Altham for the first two miles.
This is a massively popular race amongst locals in and around the Accrington and Hyndburn area, with a wide variety of rural and urban roads for those taking part, and a lovely 1.5-mile grandstand descent to the finish line.
Whether you’re racing to hit your personal best, or jogging for your leisure, this race is for everyone. There will even be a junior race on the day, for anyone up to the age of 15 to compete in.
After the race everyone is invited to The Walton Arms pub to have a well-deserved drink and some food. At the pub there will be a raffle alongside prizes for the winners of the 10k race.
