On the 5th February 2015 Farleys hosted a Parenting Apart Course held through the medium of Polish at Maundy Grange on Abbey Street in Accrington.
The course was kindly presented by Liz Tait of Divorce Jigsaw, a qualified solicitor and trained mediator.
Held in the chapel room there was a spread of delicious biscuits together with free tea and coffee. Literature was offered to each person attending to take home. A question and answer session was offered to the attendees at the end. Both Liz Tait and two of our family lawyers attending were able to answer all queries.
Offered free of charge to any Polish speakers, the course offered guidance to parents, helping them to take care of the emotional wellbeing of themselves and their family following separation or divorce.
The course addressed the following:
• How to create a successful parenting plan
• Managing conflict
• Positive steps to help your children
• The ‘two home’ concept
• Moving forward
• Dating, new relationships & children
In addition to this from Thursday the 12th February 2015 Farleys will host a FREE clinic to Polish speakers. The clinic will take place alternate Thursdays thereafter at Maundy Grange 22-24 Abbey Street (furniture shop) in Accrington between 12noon and 2pm. The clinic will be hosted by one of our experienced family lawyers who will be able to address any family law related queries. A polish interpreter will be on hand to assist.
The next clinic will be held on Thursday 26th February 12-2pm.
