Kevin Preston LLB (Hons) LLM HCA (Cr)

Kevin was admitted as a solicitor in 1992 and spent a number of years learning his trade in the various Magistrates' courts across the North of England practicing exclusively in criminal defence work.

Over the years he has acquired an in-depth knowledge and gained considerable experience of dealing with complex criminal cases involving serious and organised crime, drug trafficking, homicide, firearms offences, serious sexual offences and fraud.

Having developed a keen interest in defending regulatory and professional disciplinary matters Kevin supplemented his extensive criminal litigation knowledge by completing a Masters degree in Employment Law in 2005. Kevin is regularly instructed to defend in proceedings brought by the Environment Agency, the Health & Safety Executive, Trading Standards and  by professionals being investigated by their professional regulatory body.

Kevin is a VHCC panel supervisor and also holds the Higher Courts (Criminal Proceedings) qualification entitling him to practice in all criminal courts in England and Wales.
