Joanne Kearsley LLB (Hons) Grad. Dip. Psych

Joanne studied her Law degree at the University of Westminster before completing her LPC at the Chester College of Law in 1997.

Commencing her training contract at Farleys soon after, Joanne was admitted to the Law Society in 1999.

Joanne initially worked dealing with all types of personal injury, before specialising in Actions Against Detaining Authorities (AADA) in 2001, for which Farleys were granted a legal aid franchise soon after.

Joanne was promoted to the position of Associate Partner within the firm in 2004, soon after she began a further specialisation in the field of Inquest work.

In 2008 she successfully completed a second degree in Psychology and has been appointed Deputy Coroner for Greater Manchester South.

In 2009 Joanne accepted the role of Deputy Coroner for Greater Manchester South on a full time basis, however, Farleys retain her considerable expertise in the capacity of Consultant to the firm in matters involving claims against detaining public authorities and inquests.
