Chris Porter LLB (Hons)

Chris gained his Law degree from the University of Warwick in 1978, before going on to complete his Law Finals at the Chester College of Law in 1979.

Later that year he successfully applied for, and was taken on by Farleys so that he could complete his Articles. In 1981, Chris was admitted to the Law Society and was kept on at firm as an Assistant Solicitor.

Dealing mainly with residential property matters, Chris quickly made himself a large client base throughout Lancashire. His efforts were rewarded in 1986 when he was made an equity Partner of the firm.

In 1999, now managing a large, established conveyancing department, Chris set about building Farleys Commercial department. The department has since gone from strength to strength, and recently moved into a purpose built facility to accommodate its growing needs.

Chris now specialises in complex commercial property deals.

Chris is the Vice-Chairman of Governors at St Bedes High School in Blackburn.
