The team at Farleys is celebrating a year of strong placements in the legal industry’s most coveted guides. The firm’s serious crime, personal injury and family departments led the way in the rankings; therefore placing Farleys amongst the leading firms in the region.
Both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners guides are key benchmarks for firms in the legal sector, and are compiled by a combination of interviews with solicitors and recommendations from clients and legal industry peers.
For the eleventh consecutive year, the firm’s Serious Crime and Fraud team were ranked amongst the best in the country in the Chambers and Partners guide to the legal profession, achieving a listing in two categories – Crime (North West) and Fraud (UK). The team, which handles complex criminal defence cases throughout the UK, is also ranked in the other ‘bible’ of the legal industry, the Legal 500.
Notably, this year also saw new rankings for the firm, with the Personal Injury team scooping a prestigious place in the Chambers guide for their work representing claimants in personal injury cases; the only firm in Lancashire to be listed in the category.
The firm’s family law department also joined the rankings in this year’s Legal 500. This success follows on from other recent awards for the team, including a Partner of the year award for head of department Antonia Love at the national Family Law Awards.
