DCIM105GOPROStuart Brown, a solicitor at Farleys’ office in Blackburn, has raised £800 for a local youth charity by participating in their fundraising skydive. Stuart, who lives in Rossendale, is a big supporter of Rossendale charity Vision, having participated in over seven of their fundraising events previously, taking on challenges including biking, hiking, running and abseiling; all to raise funds to support their work.

Vision’s charity skydive involved the participants jumping from a plane at 13,000ft, experiencing 45 seconds of freefall followed by a six minute parachute descent back to earth. The Skydiving challengers, which along with Stuart included Adrian Smith, Laura Worrell and Emma Cavanagh, have so far raised a total of over £3000 for the charity.

Commenting on this latest challenge, Stuart, who works as a criminal solicitor said:

“I love danger, I like to push myself… and I love Vision and what they do. I long to see the work grow as the team get alongside young people, get to know them, and give them hope”.

Vision is a youth charity which works primarily with young people aged 11-18 in Rossendale. Run entirely by volunteers, the charity undertakes a number of projects and events each year to help young people reach their potential.
