FARLEYS Solicitors' family law team has been boosted by the appointment of a senior legal executive in its Blackburn office.
Nicola Rushton, from Loveclough, Rossendale, who originally joined the firm's Accrington office in October to cover maternity leave, has now been awarded a permanent contract.
Former Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School pupil, Nicola said: "Whilst I was at Walkers, the family law department grew significantly to a team of seven which I headed, in addition to being practice manager.
I now specialise in all aspects of family law including divorce, children's act matters and financial disputes such as complicated asset division and pension claims. I have also worked closely with the local women's refuges and citizen's advice bureaus offering legal advice to vulnerable clients."
Commenting on joining Farleys Solicitors, Nicola added: "I am delighted to have secured a permanent contract at Farleys because having been very impressed with its professionalism, the service offered to clients, the way staff are treated and its investment in technology."
