TWO employees at law firm Farleys are celebrating qualifying as solicitors after completing their training contracts with the firm.
Julia Hyatt and Jane Goodier both studied law at the University of Central Lancashire before joining Farleys as trainees in 2004.
24-year-old Julia, from Longridge, Preston, is working at one of the firm's Blackburn offices in the litigation department with partner Des Draper. She will specialise in civil litigation cases, including personal injury and contract work.
Jane is based at Farleys' Accrington office working in the criminal law department alongside partner Bernard Horne. The 26-year-old, from Preston, will specialise in prison law.
Farleys' training partner, Jonathan Bridge congratulated the pair on their qualification. He said: "We are delighted to welcome Julia and Jane to Farleys after the hard work they put into qualifying. I am sure they will both continue to offer a valuable service to our clients."
