Farleys Announced as New Sponsors for Football League

Farleys has been announced as the new league sponsors for Blackburn & District Football Combination. The Blackburn based league, which currently has 25 teams playing in 3 divisions, announced the new sponsors at their pre-season meeting on Wednesday 24th August. Michael Corrigan, Managing Partner at Farleys, attended the meeting and presented the sponsorship fee to the league's Management Committee.

Michael Corrigan from Farleys commented:

"We are delighted to offer our support to the Blackburn and District Football Combination as their main league sponsor.  Sport, and particularly football, is very close to many of our hearts at Farleys and we are therefore always keen to get involved with local teams. The recent launch of our Sports Law department, which offers legal expertise to sports clubs/associations and individuals at all levels, from grass roots to top flight, is a further demonstration of our commitment to helping those involved in sport?.

Blackburn Combination Secretary Bill Markham added:

"The league is very happy for the support of such a major local company as Farleys and the teams gave Farleys a rousing welcome at our preseason meeting.  We look forward to a long association together  for the good of all local footballers in the Blackburn area.?
